SL Coupling (Cross Quick Coupling)

Main features:

It consists of two half couplings and an intermediate disk.

The end face of the half coupling is grooved, and the intermediate disk has convex teeth on both sides, which can slide in the groove.

The slider is annular and usually made of steel or wear-resistant alloy to achieve zero clearance operation.

The center slider is connected to the sleeves on both sides through the slots with 90° relative distribution on both sides to transmit torque.

Use:

Suitable for transmission systems with low speed and large torque transmission.

It is commonly used in general common motors, and can also be used to connect servo motors in some occasions.

The relative displacement between the two shafts is corrected by the sliding of the center slider.
